Who we are
HireBench Recruitment ("HireBench", "we") is a recruitment agency at 18 Kingsway House, London WC2B 6UN. We introduce candidates to hiring companies and are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions about this policy: hello@hirebenchgroup.com.
What we collect
- Candidates — name, contact details, CV, work history, right-to-work information, salary expectations, interview notes and references.
- Employer contacts — name, work contact details, role requirements and hiring preferences.
- Website forms — whatever you type into the Request Talent, job application or contact forms, which is stored in our secure lead-management workspace.
How we use it
We use candidate data to match people to live roles, share shortlists with hiring companies, and keep in touch about relevant opportunities. We use employer data to scope briefs, run searches and manage placements. We never sell personal data.
Legal bases
We rely on legitimate interests (running a recruitment service you have engaged with), consent (submitting your CV or asking to be represented for a role — withdrawable at any time), and legal obligation (right-to-work and record-keeping duties).
Sharing
Candidate profiles are shared with a hiring company only for roles you have agreed to be represented for. We use a small number of processors to run the service (website hosting, form storage, email); each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
Retention
Active candidate records are kept while we work together and for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised. Placement and invoicing records are kept for 6 years to meet legal obligations.
Cookies & analytics
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served by Google Fonts and social icons by a public CDN, which receive standard request data (such as your IP address) when those assets load. Our forms submit directly to our lead workspace and set no cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. Email hello@hirebenchgroup.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
