Career advice & interview prep.

Career Advice

Get your CV in front of the right people.

A CV that gets read

  • Tailor the top third to the role — job titles and skills the hiring manager will scan for
  • Lead with results (“cut onboarding time 40%”), not duties
  • Keep it to two pages in a plain, single-column format — parsers and people both prefer it
  • Close the gaps: one honest line beats an unexplained blank

Working with a recruiter

  • Be straight about salary, notice period and other processes — it protects your position
  • Reply fast: shortlists move in days, not weeks
  • Tell us what you don’t want — it sharpens the search
  • One recruiter per role: double submissions can void an application
Interview Prep

Walk in prepared, walk out confident.

Before the interview

  • Re-read the job description and match one story to each requirement
  • Prepare three STAR stories (situation, task, action, result) you can flex
  • Research the company’s product, customers and latest news
  • Prepare two questions that show you’ve thought about the role

On the day — and after

  • Arrive ten minutes early — or test the video link twice
  • Answer the question asked, then stop; rambling buries your best material
  • Ask about next steps before you leave
  • Send your recruiter feedback the same day — we use it in the debrief
